On May 21, at the Vietnam Embassy to Poland, Ambassador Nguyen Hung and Napielralski, president of the Polish-Vietnamese Friendship Parliamentary Group, discussed a program to promote economic and cultural diplomacy between Vietnam and Poland.

Ambassador Nguyen Hung said he highly appreciated and expressed his gratitude to the group for its activities and practical initiatives, which contributed to the development of relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Nguyen Hung and Polish MP Napielralski agreed on a plan to strengthen upcoming cooperation. The plan conists of three main goals: Promoting all-level cooperation between both sides' National Assembly and ministries through official visits when the two countries can control the pandemic, implementing the results of Polish President Andrzej Duda's visit to Vietnam in 2017, and promoting local cooperation through exchanges.

After Poland lifts social distancing restrictions in June, Ambassador Nguyen Hung will visit and work with Poland's dynamic developing cities, as well as promote business cooperation connecting the two countries' businesses, such as with seminars and field visits.

Napielralski expressed his hope that when the pandemic situation was under control, the Polish-Vietnamese Friendship Parliamentary Group in collaboration with the Vietnam-Poland Friendship Group would form a delegation to visit and work in Vietnam. The delegation would include representatives of businesses and localities who wished to cooperate with Vietnam.

On the occasion, the Poland - Vietnam Friendship Group presented a medal to Minister Counsellor Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet before she concluded her working term in Poland. The award was to recognize her positive contributions in promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Poland.
