Khmer people congratulated on Chol Chnam Thmay festival
NDO – Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)
NDO - National Assembly Vice Chairman and President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man visited and presented gifts to Khmer people in Soc Trang Province on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Festival.
Extending best wishes to Buddhist monks and Khmer people, Man expressed his pleasure at the positive changes in the lives of Khmer people, through which the national solidarity bloc has been further strengthened.
He stated that this year’s Chol Chnam Thmay Festival coincides with the first year of implementing the resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the year of the elections of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.
Man expects that the Khmer people in the southern region and Soc Trang Province will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, celebrate a safe and joyous festival, and work hard to build a better life.
The official wished a peaceful and happy Chol Chnam Thmay Festival to Buddhist monks and all the Khmer people.
