HCMC – As of April 5, no Covid-19 patients in Haiphong City had remained positive for the virus, the Haiphong Department of Health announced today, April 6.
As two Covid-19 patients in the city, identified as D.M.T and N.V.Q, have tested negative for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, many times, they will be declared free from Covid-19 and discharged from the hospital today.
They will be monitored and quarantined at home for 14 days to prevent the potential spread of the virus if they test positive again, according to the department.
Up to now, the city has seen as many as 2,218 people get shots of the Covid-19 vaccine, Lao Dong Online reported.
On February 21, Haiphong City reported one Covid-19 case, a nurse named D.T.P. Through contact tracing and screening, the Haiphong Preventive Medicine Center detected two more patients, the nurse’s boyfriend and younger sister, named N.V.Q and D.M.T, respectively.
