HCMC - The Ministry of Health has confirmed six new imported Covid-19 cases, including four in Bac Ninh and two in Tay Ninh, taking the country’s tally to 2,626 this evening, April 3.

The four patients in Bac Ninh, aged from 34 to 51, are residents of Ha Tinh Province’s Ky Anh Town, Phu Tho Province’s Yen Lap District, Hanoi’s Son Tay Town and Hai Duong Province’s Thanh Ha District.

On March 31, they arrived at Quang Ninh-based Van Don International Airport from Angola and were sent to a quarantine center in Bac Ninh. They tested positive for Covid-19 on April 2 and are being treated at the Bac Ninh General Hospital.

Meanwhile, two patients in Tay Ninh are 24-year-old women residing in Tay Ninh’s Tan Bien District and Binh Duong Province’s Thu Dau Mot City, respectively.

They entered Vietnam through the Moc Bai Border Gate in Tay Ninh on April 1 and have been quarantined immediately in the province. On April 3, they were found positive for Covid-19.
