Tiki joins hands with NZTE to diversify products

HCMC – The New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and Tiki, a prominent Vietnamese e-commerce platform, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to allow New Zealand businesses to sell their products on the platform and gain access to millions of Tiki customers.

The MoU signing was part of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s trade mission to Vietnam. The prime minister and business delegates wrapped up her four-day Vietnam visit on November 17.

Under the deal, NZTE, New Zealand’s economic development and trade promotion agency, will share knowledge and opportunities to enable Tiki and participating New Zealand brands to grow.

To tap into growing, well-educated Vietnamese middle and upper-class consumers, NZTE and Tiki are rolling out New Zealand Week, an online campaign to boost the visibility of New Zealand products on Tiki’s platform, where it will feature some of New Zealand’s most loved brands.

The campaign, which runs until November 20, aims to help New Zealand businesses expand their digital use and distribution in Vietnam by taking advantage of Tiki’s online marketplace and logistics and supply services.

Tiki is one of Vietnam’s leading retail e-commerce platforms in its fast-growing e-commerce market. Since 2010, it has received some 100 million monthly visits with a 95% customer satisfaction rate.
