Ban Khieng waterfall tourist area is 30km from the center of Lang Son province and 180km from Hanoi. From the city center, you can go in the direction of Chuong Duong bridge. Continue to move to the Overpass at Long Bien intersection, then turn right onto Nguyen Van Linh street. Go straight to Highway 5 overpass, then go up the bridge to turn towards Phu Dong bridge, enter National Highway 1A. Go to the end of National Highway 1A, cross Nhu Nguyet Bridge, enter the Hanoi – Bac Giang highway to Bac Giang city.
Continue going straight to the Bac Giang – Lang Son highway about 100km and you will have reached the center of Lang Son city. At the intersection of Highway 1A and National Highway 4B, turn right and go along Highway 4B about 20km to the center of Loc Binh district. To the district center, turn left onto road 236, go straight for 10km to reach Ban Khieng.

Ban Kieng waterfall tourist area originates from the beautiful famous waterfall of the same name here. Realizing the advantages and potentials in the majestic nature of Ban Khieng waterfall, all levels and sectors have been given special priority, creating investment attraction to build Ban waterfall into an eco-tourism area of the province and ranked as a provincial relic in 2017. The project of Ban Khieng waterfall tourist area is still in the process of construction, has completed phase 1: April 2019 – August 2021, and is in phase 2: August 2021 – May 2022. The project is invested by JSC Architecture and Tourism Development with a total area of Ban waterfall up to 8.69ha.
Ban waterfall is over 1,000m high, originating from the majestic Mau Son mountain range – where dozens of large and small streams flow through. This is the largest waterfall with a length of 1,320m, with 3 parts separated by 3 waterfalls. Each rapid is separated from each other from 200m – 300m with a height of 2m – 8m, at the foot of the waterfall is a lake with a depth of 1m – 2m with a rock foundation and a layer of pebbles.
Ban Khieng waterfall is divided into 2 main subdivisions, zone A (in the area of Ban Khieng village of Huu Khanh commune) and zone B (in the area of Na Mo corrugated iron of Mau Son commune). Area A includes facilities such as car park, reception house, conference house, streamside villa area, restaurant, public service area…. Area B includes existing facilities such as a small parking lot, scenic roads on both sides of the stream, service areas and rooms, inter-village roads…
In the upstream area, there are large waterfalls up to 3m high and many small waterfalls around. The narrow and steep waterfall has created a beautiful landscape for the scenic spot with many clear rapids flowing from the cliffs, on both sides of the stream is a system of primeval forests, creating a lyrical natural scene.
Ban Khieng waterfall tourist area has not been completed but has attracted a large number of tourists. On peak occasions, Ban waterfall welcomes 200-600 visitors. On the occasion of April 30 – May 3, 2020, the number of visitors to Ban waterfall is up to 1,000 times.
