7 famous ‘falling in love’ in Da Lat

LAM DONG – Doc Nha Lang, Nha Bo, or 7 Tran Hung Dao … are the favorite check-in addresses of young tourists every time they come to the mountain town.

Nguyet Vong Lau slope

Located at the corner of Tang Bat Ho street, turning to Truong Cong Dinh, Ward 1 is a small slope with a prominent red house named Nguyet Vong Lau. Originally a Chinese tea shop, the two-story house with high hanging red lanterns and murals becomes the check-in point of many young people every time they come to Da Lat. Photo: Khanh Tran

Village House Slope

This is a shortcut from Phan Dinh Phung street to the Hoa Binh area, now renamed Nguyen Bieu, Ward 1. Famous for its snack shops, in recent years Nha Lang slope has become more and more attractive to tourists. When it was organized, the Hillside Street art was decorated with 30 colorful murals. Just a little walk on the 200m slopes, young people were able to take many unique photos. Photo: Tan Nhan

Da Lat Market Slope

The stairs to Da Lat market and the bridge leading from the Hoa Binh area to the market are the check-in points that many young people liken to the corner of Hong Kong in the heart of the mountain town. Rows of houses and shops are located close to each other, creating an old background as if tinged with time. Anyone who has been to Da Lat market, snacking or shopping for specialties certainly cannot ignore this destination. If you take a photo in the early morning or late afternoon when the dawn falls, your photo will add a “magical” part. Photo: Crystal Huyen Trang

The slope of Tran Hung Dao street

The slope at 7 Tran Hung Dao Street (near Palace II) attracts young people to take pictures because of its height, from the top of the slope the scenery covers a corner of Xuan Huong Lake and the mountain town. In addition, the stairs, handrails, and soaring pines make the slope look like it came out of a Japanese movie frame. This place appeared in the MV All will replace you (2018) by singer Pham Quynh Anh. Photo: Khanh Tran

Cow House Slope

Emerging after being the scene of the brilliant May movie (2018), Nha Bo slope located on Dao Duy Tu street is often “hunted” by young people to take pictures to check-in. It’s called Nha Bo because there used to be a cow barn owned by the French at the end of the slope, after 1953 it was renamed Dao Duy Tu street. This road is also a shortcut to visit Palace III. However, visitors who have a firm grip on the steering wheel can launch or walk the stairs. Photo: iam_nhu_y/Instagram

Da Quy Slope

This is one of the most poetic streets in the cherry blossom season, located in Xuan Tho – Trai Mat. Da Quy slope is located on Hung Vuong street, going straight to Highway 20 in the direction of Trai Mat, often “hunted” by tourists in the spring. The peaceful scenery in the suburbs and two rows of cherry apricots in full bloom at the beginning of the year make visitors come here as if they are lost in the land of the rising sun. Photo: Nguyen Vu/instagram

Gospel Slope

Located at the Protestant church on Phan Dinh Phung street, the slope is named Protestant. The church is located on a small hill, down the main road are rows of straight pines and white railings, recently becoming a favorite photo spot of young people. If you go to the church in the early morning and stand on the slope looking down, you will have a panoramic view of the city center. When the afternoon falls, you can enjoy the romantic sunset. Photo: Uyennguyn/Instagram.
