Starting from October 1, 2026, Vietnam will officially apply a new subsidy rate for war veterans and their families, as outlined in Decree No. 321/2026/NĐ-CP. The new monthly subsidy will be set at 3,012,000 VND, which will serve as the basis for calculating various allowances and benefits for those who have contributed to the revolution and their relatives.

This decree, which takes effect on October 1, 2026, also specifies the new subsidy rates and allowances for war veterans and their families, as detailed in Appendix I attached to the decree. The monthly subsidy for wounded soldiers and those receiving similar benefits will be outlined in Appendix II, while the rates for Class B wounded soldiers will be detailed in Appendix III.

The new subsidy rates are part of the government's ongoing commitment to enhance the welfare of war veterans and their families, ensuring they receive adequate support for their sacrifices. The effective date for calculating these new benefits will be retroactive to July 1, 2026, allowing beneficiaries to receive the adjusted amounts promptly.
