This victory not only advances Tâm to the semifinals but also guarantees at least a bronze medal for the Vietnamese boxing team, continuing the nation’s legacy of success in the sport at ASIAD. The boxing format means that there are no third-place matches; thus, both semifinal losers will receive bronze medals.
