On September 4, Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by a high-level delegation, visited the VinFast automotive manufacturing complex in Hai Phong as part of his official visit to Vietnam. He was welcomed by Pham Nhat Quan Anh, Chairman of VinFast Global.

During the visit, Pham Nhat Quan Anh guided President Min Aung Hlaing through the body welding and electric vehicle assembly workshops, showcasing the closed production process and modern assembly lines equipped with high automation technology. The President expressed his admiration for the quality of VinFast's electric vehicles and praised the modern facilities of the plant, recognizing VinFast's journey to becoming a leading brand in Vietnam and its rapid expansion into global markets.

VinFast currently operates in 16 countries, with key markets including Indonesia, India, the Philippines, and North America. The visit also served as an opportunity for VinFast to present the advancements in Vietnam's automotive industry and the company's production capabilities, thereby enhancing the connection between Vietnam and Myanmar in industrial, trade, and green transportation sectors.

As one of Vietnam's modern automotive manufacturing complexes, the VinFast plant in Hai Phong embodies the ambition to bring Vietnamese automotive brands to the international market. Building on its production base in Vietnam, VinFast is gradually expanding its operations in various markets, focusing on developing a green transportation ecosystem and promoting the transition to electric vehicles.

Previously, the VinFast complex in Hai Phong has hosted many high-ranking leaders and heads of state during their official visits to Vietnam. This reflects a growing interest in the production capabilities and technology of Vietnamese enterprises, as well as opening opportunities for economic cooperation and green transportation between Vietnam and other countries.
