The decision was made during the third performance, where members of the lower-ranking teams had to protect two out of three contestants with the lowest scores.

Upon receiving the news, Dai Nghia accepted the outcome with calmness and encouraged his teammate Ha An Huy, who served as the team leader, not to feel regret about his decisions. Before his departure, Dai Nghia participated in a performance titled 'Across the Galaxy' with his team, which aimed to transport the audience into a mythical world filled with childhood imagery. Huynh Lap, the leader of the top-ranked team, expressed his surprise and sadness at Dai Nghia's exit, noting their close bond and shared memories throughout the competition. He described Dai Nghia as someone he resonated with deeply, making the departure even harder to accept. The ranking for the third performance concluded with Team Benh Bong at the top, followed by Team Ruc Ro, both securing safety for their members.
