Truong My Lan's Diamond Jewelry Set to Be Auctioned
The diamond jewelry collection of Truong My Lan will soon be auctioned with a starting price of 25 billion

On August 21, 2026, three pieces of diamond jewelry belonging to Truong My Lan were auctioned off at the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center, with a total sale exceeding 15.5 billion VND. The auction was part of the legal proceedings related to Truong My Lan and her accomplices.
The first item auctioned was a pair of diamond earrings, which sold for over 9.44 billion VND. Following this, the diamond necklace and ring were also put up for bidding. The necklace, featuring a prominent natural diamond of 12.67mm in diameter, had a starting price of 8.89 billion VND. Only one bidder, identified as T.T.T.H from Go Vap District, registered to participate and successfully purchased the necklace at the starting price.
The final item, a diamond ring with a natural diamond measuring 14.1mm in diameter, had a starting price of 6.6 billion VND. Again, T.T.T.H was the sole bidder and secured the ring for 6.7 billion VND. In total, T.T.T.H spent nearly 15.5 billion VND on the necklace and ring combined.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center, these pieces of jewelry had lost their purchase records and original receipts. However, they were assessed by the Vietnam Gemstone and Jewelry Institute, confirming their characteristics and value. The total starting price for the three items, including the earrings, necklace, and ring, was nearly 25 billion VND. This auction is part of the asset liquidation process in the case against Truong My Lan and her associates.
