The admission scores for Grade 6 at Trần Đại Nghĩa School for 2026 have been announced, sparking interest

Hanoi's Department of Education and Training has announced the recruitment of 540 students for the 10th grade at the newly established Dang Tran Duc High School for the 2026-2027 academic year. The school is located in Vinh Hung Ward, Hanoi.
The enrollment is open to students who participated in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 academic year in Hanoi and meet the criteria for admission but were not accepted into their registered choices.
Students eligible for enrollment can register online through the city’s primary school enrollment portal at tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn, starting from 8 AM on August 11 until midnight on August 16.
From 8 AM on August 17, the enrollment council of Dang Tran Duc High School will review the list of students who have registered, ranking them according to their admission scores from highest to lowest until the quota of 540 students is filled.
If there are multiple students with the same admission score at the last position, the school will report to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for consideration and approval.
Before 2 PM on August 17, the school’s enrollment council will submit the list of students recommended for admission to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. By 5 PM on the same day, the list of admitted students will be publicly announced at the school and on the electronic portal of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (hanoi.edu.vn).
Admitted students must submit their enrollment documents at the school from 8 AM on August 18 to 5 PM on August 22, 2026, during business hours.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training advises students and parents to monitor the registration timeline and adhere to regulations to ensure their rights.
Dang Tran Duc High School was established under Decision No. 2788/QD-UBND dated July 17, 2026, by the Hanoi People's Committee and is under the management of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. On August 7, the department issued a decision allowing the school to commence educational operations in the city.
Previously, Hanoi announced the admission scores for 122 high schools to recruit approximately 81,500 students for the upcoming 10th grade. The lowest admission score for 10th grade this year was 8.5, while the highest was 26 points.
At the end of March 2026, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced that six new high schools would begin operations and participate in the 10th grade enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Among them, four public schools include Hoang Quan Chi High School (Yen Hoa Ward), Vinh Hung High School (Vinh Hung Ward), Viet Hung High School (Dong Anh Commune), and Xuan Khanh High School (Son Tay Ward).
Thus, Vinh Hung High School (Vinh Hung Ward) has been renamed Dang Tran Duc High School after its establishment and recruitment.
