Bamboo Airways is set to suspend several flights, including the charter service on the Hanoi-Lijiang route in China, starting August 1. This decision comes as part of the airline's ongoing restructuring efforts. The airline has been actively working with relevant partners to find solutions to continue operating this route, but ultimately determined that no suitable options remained.

A representative from Bamboo Airways expressed regret over this decision and extended apologies to affected partners and passengers. Those who have already booked tickets are encouraged to contact their travel agents or ticketing offices for assistance with refunds, exchanges, or alternative travel arrangements.

As of July 31, a survey conducted by Dân trí revealed that several key domestic routes, such as Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi-Da Nang, and Hanoi-Quy Nhon, were no longer displaying flights for August on the airline's booking system. The official website of Bamboo Airways currently lists flight schedules only up to the end of July.

On July 28, Bamboo Airways issued an official statement regarding the recent cancellations and delays of numerous flights. The airline acknowledged its responsibility for the inconveniences caused and apologized to affected passengers, assuring them that it would process refunds. However, due to a high volume of requests, the processing time may take longer than expected.

This series of actions occurs as Bamboo Airways continues to scale back its operations. According to data from Planespotters, the airline's current fleet consists of only three aircraft: one Airbus A321CEO, one Airbus A320neo, and one Airbus A320CEO. Prior to the restructuring process, Bamboo Airways had a fleet of 44 aircraft, including Airbus A319, A320, A321, and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner models.
