At lunch, visitors can explore cuisine in the alley of Dong Xuan market. Located in a prime location - east of Dong Xuan market, less than 1km from Hoan Kiem Lake, in the middle of the old town center, a small alley only about 200m gathers dozens of shops selling special dishes of Ha Thanh land from shrimp cakes to spring rolls, noodle soup, vermicelli, bamboo vermicelli... The cuisine, in particular, is reasonably priced. Visitors can fill their tummies for a few tens of thousands of dong. 

There is a popular and bustling Thuy snail noodle shop in the market. Hundreds of diners arrived at lunchtime. The owner and staff were quick to serve and still could not serve. The most "fragrant" in the market is probably the bamboo stick grilled vermicelli shops, where the smell of meat is suffocating. The owner clamps each piece of meat into pairs of bamboo sticks to grill on embers to serve diners. They use bamboo sticks to make the meat more fragrant than the iron grill. 


After enjoying the main course, diners can have dessert with many tea dishes. Mrs. Lien's tea shop has been selling for 32 years. On sunny or rainy days, she cooks nearly 20 different types of tea as green bean tea, black beans, potatoes, yogurt, caramel, etc. The Yen tea shop is as crowded as Lien Tea, which is especially attractive to students with many new and modified tea dishes. 


The end of April is also the time in Hanoi that sells red jellyfish - Vietnamese sashimi.
