The price difference between buying and selling stands at 4 million VND per tael. Similarly, DOJI Group has listed the SJC gold at the same price range, also reflecting a decrease of 1 million VND.
Meanwhile, Bảo Tín Minh Châu has set the price for SJC gold bars at 137.1 to 141 million VND per tael, marking a decrease of 1 million VND in both directions. The buying and selling price difference here is slightly lower at 3.9 million VND.
In terms of 9999 gold rings, the prices mirror those of the SJC gold, with Phú Quý Group listing them at 136.5 to 140.5 million VND per tael, also down by 1 million VND. DOJI has set their prices at 137 to 141 million VND per tael, dropping by 1.5 million VND.
On the global stage, as of 9:10 AM, the price of gold is around 4,023.1 USD per ounce, decreasing by 23.4 USD. The ongoing strength of the US dollar and expectations of sustained high interest rates continue to exert pressure on precious metals.
Investors are particularly cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve's upcoming policy decision, which is expected to maintain current interest rates. However, the potential for a more hawkish tone from the Fed could further impact gold prices. The market is currently watching closely for signals from the Fed, as the outcome could significantly influence gold's trajectory.
Technical analysis indicates that gold is trading within a sensitive range after months of a downward trend, with the 4,000 USD per ounce mark seen as a crucial support level. If this level is breached, selling pressure may increase, pushing prices lower to around 3,960-3,940 USD per ounce. Conversely, if the Fed adopts a softer stance than anticipated, expectations for lower interest rates could resurface, potentially allowing gold to recover.
In summary, the domestic gold market is adjusting in line with global trends, and the results of the Fed's meeting will be pivotal in determining the next direction for gold prices.
