A recent incident involving British Airways has raised concerns over crew health and safety after a pilot and multiple flight attendants experienced food poisoning during flight BA276 from Hyderabad, India, to London Heathrow. The flight, which took off on July 19, 2026, lasted over ten hours and was preceded by an overnight layover in India.

Reports indicate that the crew had breakfast at their hotel, which included bottled water from an outside company. During the flight, the captain became incapacitated and required oxygen and medical attention upon landing. Despite this, the flight continued safely with the remaining crew members, although their symptoms reportedly worsened as the journey progressed.

British Airways confirmed the incident, stating that the safety and health of their crew is a top priority.
