The challenge originated from a press conference for 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' where Yoon promised to remain silent for 13 hours if the show's ratings exceeded that mark. As the ratings climbed, he adhered to his commitment, starting the challenge at 7 AM on July 13. He even shared a countdown video on social media, emphasizing his determination to remain quiet in all situations, including private moments.

Known for his talkative nature, Yoon's challenge was particularly difficult, as noted by his friend Jo Jung Suk and popular host Yoo Jae Suk. Despite his vow of silence, Yoon participated in fan events and radio shows, using facial expressions and gestures to communicate, which fans found entertaining.
