VinFast, the Vietnamese automotive manufacturer, continues to lead the domestic market, having exceeded 100,000 vehicle sales in the first half of 2026. As of July 10, the company reported that it delivered 17,955 electric vehicles in June, bringing the total to 115,916 vehicles sold in Vietnam this year, which represents a significant 72% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This achievement marks the 21st consecutive month that VinFast has held the top position in the Vietnamese market since October 2024.
Among its various models, the VinFast Limo Green has emerged as the best-seller, with 3,868 units sold in June and a total of 27,927 units sold since the beginning of the year. The VinFast VF 3 follows closely, delivering 3,550 units in June, totaling 23,781 units for the year. Other notable models include the VF 5, which includes the Herio Green variant, with 3,364 units sold in June and 20,167 units sold since January.
Additional models such as the VF 6, VF MPV7, and VF 7 also contributed to the impressive sales figures, with respective sales of 14,045, 9,177, and 6,849 units in the first half of the year. The June sales for these models were 2,988, 1,254, and 1,437 units, respectively. VinFast has also reported positive sales for other models like the VF 8, VF 9, EC Van, and Minio Green.
Dương Thị Thu Trang, the Deputy General Director of Global Automotive Sales at VinFast, stated that selling over 115,000 vehicles in the first six months of the year reflects the market's confidence in the company's electric vehicle offerings.
Looking ahead to July, VinFast plans to adjust the prices of all its vehicle models by directly reducing long-term incentives, making it easier for customers to purchase. Additionally, the company is offering discounts of 20 million VND for the VF MPV7, 25 million VND for the VF 5, and 35 million VND for the Limo Green, valid from July 7 to July 31.
The new VF 2 model is set to officially launch with a price of 188 million VND, and customers can place deposits of 8 million VND per vehicle from July 15 to 17. The company anticipates delivering this urban electric vehicle model in September.
