Completion of Six State Offices at Long Thanh Airport

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) announced on July 2, 2026, that the construction of six state offices at Long Thanh International Airport has been largely completed. This project, part of the first component of the airport's infrastructure, is essential for the management, operation, and exploitation of the airport in the near future.

The six completed buildings include the Customs Office, Southern Aviation Administration Office, Immigration Department Office, Police Station, Animal Quarantine Station, and Plant Quarantine Station. ACV is currently focused on connecting these offices to the airport's shared infrastructure systems, ensuring that all necessary conditions are met for the state management agencies to begin operations once the airport opens.

Long Thanh International Airport is scheduled to commence commercial operations by the end of 2026. According to the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, the construction of the International Health Quarantine Office at the airport is also expected to be completed by December 2026. This project was approved for investment in September 2025, with a total investment of approximately 161 billion VND from local budget sources.

The completion of these state offices marks a significant milestone in the development of Long Thanh International Airport, which is set to become a key hub in Vietnam's aviation sector.
