In the latest pricing adjustment announced today, the prices of gasoline and oil have been reduced across the board. Effective from 3 PM, E5 RON 92 has decreased by 767 VND per liter, and E10 RON 95-III has dropped by 837 VND per liter.
This adjustment comes in light of recent global trends in fuel prices and is part of the government's management strategy for fuel pricing. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, along with the Ministry of Finance, has decided to allocate funds from the fuel price stabilization fund, which is temporarily sourced from the state budget. The allocations are as follows:
- Biofuel: 300 VND per liter.
- Diesel oil: 800 VND per liter.
- Heavy fuel oil: 800 VND per kilogram.
After the allocation and utilization of the fuel price stabilization fund, the retail prices for commonly used fuel products are now set as follows:
- E5 RON 92: not exceeding 19,359 VND per liter (a decrease of 767 VND compared to the previous maximum selling price), which is 557 VND lower than E10 RON 95-III.
- E10 RON 95-III: not exceeding 19,916 VND per liter (a decrease of 837 VND compared to the previous maximum selling price).
- Diesel 0.05S: not exceeding 21,866 VND per liter (a decrease of 1,668 VND compared to the previous maximum selling price).
- Heavy fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: not exceeding 15,030 VND per kilogram (a decrease of 1,650 VND compared to the previous maximum selling price).
This reduction in fuel prices is expected to ease the financial burden on consumers and stimulate economic activities in various sectors reliant on fuel.
