International trade fair kicks off in HCMC

HCMC – The 20th Vietnam International Trade Fair, Vietnam Expo 2022, opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in HCMC’s District 7 on December 1, featuring 550 booths with more than 520 enterprises from 20 countries and territories.

The three-day event consists of a series of specialized exhibitions, such as the International Exhibition of Hardware & Hand Tools, the International Landscape & Gardening Exhibition, the Vietnam Supporting Industry Fair and the International Exhibition for Elevators, Lifts, Technologies and Accessories.

The “two in one” model has been initiated by Vinexad National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC over the past seven years.

This year’s Vietnam Expo is part of the recovery taking place in the exhibition industry, with the participation of businesses from many countries and territories, including Vietnam, the United Kingdom, India, Taiwan, Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the United States, Japan, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, China and Italy.

Vietnam Expo 2022 continues to be the key event to promote trading, offering cooperation opportunities to local and international firms and leveraging local markets, as well.

One of the highlights of the event is the South Korean pavilion, covering 500 square meters, which includes participation by 61 enterprises active in beauty, consumer goods, household appliances and digital technology.

Vietnam Expo 2022 is set to feature various seminars and workshops on the orientation for the development of the elevator industry, supporting industries and supply chains.

The event is expected to see 20,000 visitors in attendance.
