Banh mi is usually filled with pate, fried fish, pickles, cilantro, and hot sauce. Depending on the region, visitors can enjoy many types of banh mi with different fillings. "Vietnamese banh mi is crispy, fresh and extremely delicious," according to the American newspaper.
