Thien Cam beach attracts visitors on hot days

HA TINH – Hot weather, tens of thousands of tourists flock to Thien Cam beach on weekends to cool off, enjoy seafood, and watch the sunrise at dawn.

Thien Cam beach is located in Thien Cam town, Cam Xuyen district, about 20 km from Ha Tinh city, including a complex of mountains, sea, temples, pagodas and accommodation areas. This place used to be associated with two legends in history.

Legend has it that during the 13th Hung King period, the king and his entourage passed through this area, when the night stopped to rest, suddenly heard the sound of the wind ringing between the sky, the clouds, the water, and the waves of the sea. veo, holy like a unique symphony of nature. Therefore, the king gave this place the name “Thien Cam” , which means “Heaven’s band” , and wrote three words “Thien Cam Son” on the nearby mountain.

In other legends, this place is the tragic vestige marking the fall of a dynasty. In 1407, when the Ming invaders invaded our country, Ho’s army was defeated at Bach Hac, then retreated to Thanh Hoa to entrench but could not. Giac Minh chased and arrested Ho Quy Ly father and son here, hence the name Thien Cam – also means “heaven keeps”.

In folklore, there are still verses: “The heavens are scattered everywhere / The sky and water have a passionate color”.

From 7/7 until now, Thien Cam beach welcomes many tourists to stay, cool off and enjoy food. According to the Management Board of Thien Cam Tourist Area, during the weekend, the heat was fierce, so visitors to the East Sea were estimated to be tens of thousands of times, equivalent to the last holiday of May 30 to May 1.

This area has more than 20 accommodation establishments with about 1,000 rooms. All the rooms are fully booked in the last three days. The owners of hotels and motels said that they constantly received calls to ask for room rentals, although they tried to make reasonable arrangements, they still did not meet the needs of guests.

Ha Tinh as well as the northern and central provinces are experiencing many intense heat waves, the highest temperature is 36-39, in some places more than 40 degrees Celsius.

From 5pm onwards, thousands of tourists bring floats down to the beach to cool off. Thien Cam beach has flat sand, blue water, light waves.

People often bathe in groups. They play acrobatics or play volleyball right in the water.

In addition to bathing, visitors can also experience a jet ski service for 300,000 VND per turn.

“The soft curving coast with flat white sand looks like a silk strip, every time I come here I always have beautiful check-in pictures,” tourist Hong Anh (left), said.

Thien Cam beach is also famous for a variety of fresh, diverse and affordable seafood. Snails, shrimp, fish, squid … are caught by fishermen during the day and brought to restaurants. After bathing, visitors can visit dozens of restaurants arranged on the beach to enjoy cuisine.

At night, thousands of square meters of sand near the sea is used as a Beach Club. Visitors come here to enjoy drinks, watch music and watch the sea at night.

The owner of the Beach Club has prepared foam chairs placed in the middle of the sand for guests to sit. Tourist Tran Vu (second from left) said that in the past two years Thien Cam has “completely changed”. Previously, the beach was pristine, but now it is vibrant with many high entertainment services, which was previously only seen in some famous beaches such as Cua Lo, Sam Son or Da Nang.

To visit some places in the Thien Cam tourist area, visitors can use the electric car service, which costs 50,000 VND a time, each car can carry 7-8 people.

On this occasion, Thien Cam beach is often chosen as a place to hold meetings and class meetings. People lit fires by the beach and danced around.

When staying overnight at Thien Cam, in the morning you will be able to watch the sunrise, watch the fishermen pull their nets and catch fish.

Many young people also wake up at 5am to go to the sea to take “virtual live” photos under the rising sun.
