Landscape of Binh Dinh countryside

Scenes of Truong Gia Van farm, lagoon in Phuoc Thuan, and rice harvest in Phuoc Hoa through an angle taken from above.

Morning dew on flooded fields around residential clusters in Phuoc Thuan commune, Tuy Phuoc district (below), separated from Quy Nhon by Highway 19C. The picture is part of the series of photos “Binh Dinh countryside scenery” taken by Mr. Nguyen Phan Dung Nhan, a native of Tuy Phuoc. This can be a suggestion for tourists coming to Nau this summer, both traveling and participating in the annual VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2022.

The young and green Truong Gia Van farm is likened to “Binh Dinh’s Trang An”. The farm is located in Gia Van village, My Hoa commune, Phu My district. This is an ecological garden combined with a garden resort according to the standard of “clean water, clean air and clean land”, nestled next to Hoi Khanh lake and the Da Trai mountain range.

Mr. Dung Nhan shared that because he loves the frames and rhythm of village life and the countryside when he has time, he shoots beautiful scenes from above.

In the photo are ripe golden rice fields surrounding a residential area in the highlands of An Lao district. The people living here are mainly Kinh, Hre and Ba Na ethnic groups. Local people always focus on protecting the environment, preserving villages, hamlets and villages, opening up a lot of potential to exploit community tourism, oriented towards tourism development in the northern region of Binh Dinh province (including townships in Binh Dinh province). Hoai Nhon, Phu My, Hoai An and An Lao districts).

Thi Nai lagoon is the place where Mr. Dung Nhan takes the most photos because there are many contexts in the rhythm of everyday life. This is the largest saltwater lagoon of Binh Dinh, considered the “nursery” of aquatic species, stretching from the northernmost point of Tuy Phuoc district to Quy Nhon city and connecting to the sea by Gia estuary, ie Thi Nai estuary.

One of the livelihood activities of catching fish on the Thi Nai lagoon is spinning. Fishermen’s tools include shacks and nets. The basket is erected by four long bamboo poles, in the middle, sagging in the shape of a basin. People pull their nets up after a few hours of soaking in the water to catch fish and shrimp.

Fishermen catch the elder, a bivalve mollusk that forms in patches on rocks and rotten trees in the lagoon, and bring it back to feed the lobsters. The photo was taken in front of Lang Song church in Phuoc Thuan commune, Tuy Phuoc district.

The pace of everyday life in Phuoc Thuan is like turning into a work of art, outstanding fishing gear on the blue watercolor.

When the buffalo herd returned – photo taken in Phuoc Thuan. “The landscape of my hometown is a photo quality that I am passionate about, in addition to staying for work, I also want to share this idyllic scene with everyone,” Mr. Dung Nhan said.

Fishermen rowing basket boats, netting to protect seaweed in Nhon Hai fishing village. Nhon Hai, about 30 km from the center of Quy Nhon beach town, is a famous destination. The sea here is more beautiful around April – August every year when the seaweed rises to the clear blue water.

Mr. Dung Nhan said that recently, people are aware of not exploiting massively, but together with local authorities to protect seaweed. Since then, the natural habitat has grown, attracting tourists and photographers to visit and compose.

People harvest peanuts in Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district. Peanuts and green onions are two trees that enrich the people of Cat Hai.

At the beginning of April 2022, officers and soldiers of Phu Cat district and people harvested the winter-spring rice crop due to unseasonal heavy rain and thunderstorms in Cat Tan commune.

Abundant golden season in Phuoc Hoa commune, Tuy Phuoc district. “Wandering to take pictures of the countryside, I found the scenery so peaceful, the people warm in difficult circumstances. While doing video reports for professional work, I combine photography. These are precious documents and unforgettable memories”, Mr. Dung Nhan confided.
