BINH THUAN – Acacia acacia leaves blooming and dyeing yellow in the suburbs of Phan Thiet is a new destination to attract tourists at the beginning of the year.

This new forest is suitable for visitors from within Binh Thuan province to visit, due to restrictions on long-distance travel in the context of complicated Covid-19.

Xuan Trinh was eager to check in when she heard that the acacia tree near Phan Thiet city was in full bloom. In the direction of Phan Thiet – Mui Ne, visitors will meet the first roundabout, turn left onto Vo Nguyen Giap street, run through a resort, look to the left to see the bright yellow color of acacia forest.

The season of acacia leaves adorns the earth and sky in spring. In the flowering season, each leaf axils has a flower about 4-7 cm long, spreading like a squirrel tail, with a pleasant fragrance.

Acacia acacia in Binh Thuan is drought tolerant on semi-desert sand dunes, with small stems and sharper leaves than acacia commonly found elsewhere. They are planted on sloping sandy soils to prevent sand from entering residential areas.

Acacia leaves in Thien Nghiep commune bloom from the end of December, lasting about 2 to 3 weeks, may bloom earlier or later due to the weather depending on the year. While on Bau Trang street, flowers bloom later, lasting until the Lunar New Year.

Mr. Hoan My said that this acacia tree forest grows in clusters stretching about 1 km, but it is located a bit hidden, so it is not known much compared to the famous forest on Bau Trang street, Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district. more than 30 km from Phan Thiet city.
