Located about 17 km from the center of Da Lat city, the Mong Dao Nguyen cherry apricot forest in the Lac Duong district is welcomed by tourists when it is in full bloom. The color of pink covers a road and the color of flowers is also interspersed among the mountains, in the coffee fields, beside the small houses of the residents, creating a picturesque scene.
From the city center, visitors go to Dankia street, the address of this place is not specific but has the location of Google Maps with the name Mong Dao Nguyen. Diep Tuan Bao, born in 1996, working in Da Lat, said that the weather in the city these days is sunny and warm in both the central and suburban areas, so many cherry apricot clusters have bloomed beautifully.
“My friend and I went to Mong Dao Nguyen at noon on December 26, many tourists came to take pictures and visit even though the road was difficult. Visitors had to cross 2-3 km of gravel and drive very firmly,” said Mr. Bao. To share.
The cherry apricot forest is wide, but the road visitors can visit and take photos of only has about a dozen trees. Where flowers bloom scattered along the high hillside or in the coffee fields, visitors can only observe from afar or need to ask permission from the local people before visiting.
On average, guests usually spend 1-2 hours visiting and then moving to another entertainment destination because there are not many food and entertainment services. Nearby is the Langbiang tourist area, which can be combined with sightseeing in the morning. Should bring drinking water or snacks, be careful not to litter or pick flowers to take pictures.

The road from the center of Lac Duong district to this place is a bit rough but dry. It’s dry and the weather is pretty nice, so it’s not too difficult.” A male tourist from Ho Chi Minh City said that visitors can rent a jeep to drive to the peach forest if they are afraid to ride a motorbike, the ideal time to take pictures is from 6am to 9am.
In addition to Mong Dao Nguyen, visitors can go to Cau Dat tea hill, which also has cherry apricots in bloom. In the next 2 weeks, other areas in Da Lat will have more flowers, such as Tuyen Lam lake, Da Quy slope in Xuan Tho commune, Hung Vuong – Tran Hung Dao road… Coming to the Lunar New Year, visitors can arrange a time to enjoy the beautiful flower season and pleasant weather at the end of the year.
