Phạm Thị Nguyệt Anh, a prominent volleyball player in Vietnam, has officially concluded her playing career. She has taken on a new role as an assistant coach for the Women's Information Brigade volleyball team, marking a significant transition in her professional journey.
Having been a key player in the National Championship in 2025, Nguyệt Anh will now focus on coaching and player development. Her responsibilities will include analyzing match data and assisting in training young athletes. This new role comes after her participation in the second round of the 2026 National Club Volleyball Championship, where she was registered as part of the team but did not compete on the court.
Nguyệt Anh's experience as a former member of the Vietnamese national women's volleyball team and her leadership as captain of the Information Brigade's first team have equipped her with valuable insights into the sport. As the team aims for a championship title this year, head coach Phạm Văn Long has finalized a roster of 14 players, including notable athletes such as Nguyễn Thị Phương and Phạm Quỳnh Hương, who have also trained with the national team.
With her new role, Nguyệt Anh is expected to contribute significantly to the development of young talents in Vietnamese volleyball, utilizing her extensive experience and knowledge of the game.
