The Vietnam women's volleyball team has arrived back in the country on August 10, 2026, after completing the second leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 held in Thailand. Following their participation, the team will continue training at the Bac Ninh Sports University.
In the second leg of the SEA V.Cup, the team, coached by Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, finished in fourth place. Despite the overall ranking, the team secured an individual accolade with Tran Thi Bich Thuy being named the best middle blocker.
For the SEA V.Cup 2026, the Vietnam women's volleyball team registered 14 players for each leg of the tournament. However, the coaching staff has decided to streamline the squad to 14 players for the upcoming training sessions. The finalized list will be officially announced once the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports gives its approval.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team is preparing for two significant international events later this year: the Asian Championship 2026, scheduled for August in China, and the 20th Asian Games (ASIAD 20) in September in Japan.
The 14 players selected for the upcoming training sessions will be crucial for the team's performance in these competitions. During the first leg of the SEA V.Cup, the team included players such as Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, and Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, among others. In the second leg, the lineup featured players like Đinh Thi Van and Le Thi Yen.
