Vietnam's U17 Women's Team Triumphs in Asian Qualifiers

The U17 women's football team of Vietnam had a successful start in the 2027 Asian qualifiers, defeating the U17 women's team of Palestine with a resounding score of 6-0. The match took place on October 5 at the Ba Ria stadium and was marked by heavy rainfall that affected the playing conditions.

Despite the challenging weather, Vietnam's U17 team quickly established control over the game. The match was temporarily halted due to the rain, but that did not deter the players. In the 32nd minute, Hà Vi scored the opening goal with a powerful header, putting Vietnam ahead 1-0.

After a 30-minute delay, the teams returned to the field, and Vietnam capitalized on a mistake from the Palestinian goalkeeper. Just four minutes after the resumption, Hạ Vi broke into the penalty area, forcing the goalkeeper, Nora Sobhieh, to rush out. The wet pitch caused Sobhieh to misplay the ball, allowing Hạ Vi to score again, doubling the lead.

As the game progressed, Vietnam continued to dominate. In the 43rd minute, Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Ánh scored a stunning long-range shot, extending the lead to 3-0 by halftime. The second half saw Vietnam maintain their pressure, with Khánh Đan scoring the fourth goal early on.

Ngọc Ánh added her second goal in the 69th minute, bringing the score to 5-0. Finally, in the 90th minute, Thu Phương capped off the scoring with a beautiful free kick, sealing the 6-0 victory for Vietnam.

This emphatic win marks a promising start for the U17 women's team in the Asian qualifiers, showcasing their skill and determination on the field.
