Trần Minh Vương Leaves Trường Tươi Đồng Nai After Successful Season

Midfielder Trần Minh Vương has made the surprising decision to leave Trường Tươi Đồng Nai just before the start of the 2026-2027 season. This news comes as a shock, given that the player, born in 1995, had a standout season, playing a crucial role in helping the team win the National First Division and secure promotion to the V.League.

Head coach Nguyễn Việt Thắng confirmed Minh Vương's departure, stating that the coaching staff and teammates held a farewell ceremony after the last training session, presenting him with flowers as a token of appreciation.

On his personal page, coach Nguyễn Việt Thắng expressed gratitude towards his player, saying, “Thank you for being here, and I am a bit sad to see you go. I wish you success in your new environment.” In response, Minh Vương thanked the coach for his support throughout the past season, saying, “Thank you, coach, for everything you have done for me.”

Minh Vương joined Trường Tươi Đồng Nai at the beginning of the 2025-2026 season after leaving Hoàng Anh Gia Lai. At his new club, he reunited with former teammates from Hoàng Anh Gia Lai, including Nguyễn Công Phượng, Lương Xuân Trường, and Vũ Văn Sơn.

His presence added experience and the ability to create breakthroughs in the midfield for Trường Tươi Đồng Nai. Together, they quickly achieved the goal of promotion to the V.League, while also winning the National First Division championship for the 2025-2026 season.

According to statistics from the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company, Minh Vương was one of the standout players for Trường Tươi Đồng Nai during this journey, earning the title of Best Player in the National First Division for the 2025-2026 season.
