José Mourinho Declares Federico Valverde Untouchable at Real Madrid
José Mourinho has declared Federico Valverde as an essential player for Real Madrid, dismissing transfer

Hanoi Police Football Club (CAHN) has officially confirmed the hiring of Paulo Mourinho as the new assistant coach. Mourinho, a Portuguese national, will be joining the coaching staff under head coach Alexandre 'Mano' Polking, aiming to strengthen the team’s performance as they prepare for important competitions in the near future.
According to the club's announcement, Paulo Mourinho has completed all necessary procedures and has begun his duties with the team. Born in 1987, Mourinho is expected to take on the role of the primary assistant, directly supporting Coach Polking in building strategies, organizing training sessions, and managing the team's technical aspects.
The addition of Mourinho is anticipated to enhance the coaching staff's effectiveness, providing more tactical options as the team gears up for their upcoming matches. CAHN, the reigning V-League champions, is also set to participate in continental tournaments next season.
Paulo Mourinho began his career as a player but soon shifted to coaching, accumulating experience at a young age. At just 21, he led the U19 Ribeirense team before working with various clubs and youth academies in Portugal. His career took a significant turn in 2018 when he moved to Thailand to join the coaching staff of Bangkok United, where he served as an assistant to Coach Polking. This collaboration allowed them to develop a strong understanding of coaching philosophies and player management.
After Polking accepted a position as the head coach of the Thailand national team, Mourinho sought further experience in Australia. However, he returned to Thailand at the end of 2025, joining Kanchanaburi FC as an assistant coach. Unfortunately, his time there was cut short when the coaching staff was released due to unsatisfactory performance.
Reuniting with Coach Polking at Hanoi Police FC is seen as a favorable opportunity for Mourinho to quickly adapt to his new role. With his diverse experience in various football environments and a solid understanding of the head coach, the Portuguese assistant is expected to play a crucial role in developing the team's playing style, improving training quality, and helping the police team achieve positive results in the future.
