Ninh Binh FC has announced the departure of coach Bae Ji-won after the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season. Bae, a former assistant to renowned coach Park Hang-seo, joined the club midway through the season, replacing Vu Tien Thanh, whose position had been unstable.
During his brief two-month stint, Bae Ji-won led Ninh Binh in seven matches, achieving four wins, two draws, and one loss. His time at the club coincided with the arrival of coach Chu Dinh Nghiem, who brought along several assistants, indicating a shift in the coaching staff.
On June 16, the official page of Ninh Binh FC confirmed the news of Bae's departure, expressing gratitude for his professionalism and contributions during the latter part of the season. The club highlighted that despite the short duration of his tenure, Bae left a positive mark with his dedication and important technical contributions.
In addition to Bae Ji-won, analyst Juan Carlos Leal Del Ojo also left the club, marking a significant change in the coaching and analytical team. Ninh Binh finished the season in third place in the V-League, showcasing a competitive performance throughout the year.
The club is now looking forward to the next season with new leadership and strategies in place, hoping to build on their recent successes.
