The auction 'For the Love of Porsche,' organized by the British platform Car & Classic in collaboration with Boxengasse, is a tribute to the rich history of the iconic German brand. This unique auction features 24 lots that represent various facets of Porsche's legacy, from supercars to competition vehicles and even a tractor.

Open until August 8, the auction coincides with the 2026 edition of Megaphonics, the largest Porsche gathering in Europe, where some of the auctioned models will be displayed alongside a Porsche 959.

The Showstopper: Porsche Kremer 962

Among the auction lots, the standout is a 1988 Porsche Kremer 962, a genuine Group C car that raced at Le Mans with legendary drivers like Mario Andretti and Derek Bell. This particular model is street-legal in the UK and comes with the necessary technical certification, making it one of the most extraordinary competition Porsches ever available on the market.

Rising Star: 996 GT2

Another notable entry is the 2003 Porsche 911 GT2 (996), highlighted by journalist Chris Harris as a model to watch. With only 129 right-hand drive examples made for the UK market, this car features the famous Mezger twin-turbo engine and has less than 40,000 miles on the clock, making it highly sought after by collectors.

Creative Offerings

The auction also showcases Porsche's creative side, including a 1978 924 Safari, modified for rally raids and adorned with the iconic Martini Racing livery. Additionally, a 1955 356 Pre-A Speedster Emory Outlaw, reimagined by renowned preparers Rod and Gary Emory, is included, suitable for historic events like the Mille Miglia.

Memorabilia and a Tractor

Among the unique items is a hood from a 911 SC, personally signed by Le Mans winner Richard Attwood, turned into a wall art piece to raise funds for charity. Interestingly, the auction also features a 1959 Porsche 108 Tractor, preserved in original condition, reminding enthusiasts that Porsche's history includes agricultural machinery that contributed to the company's post-war development.
