With 5,435,161 DOT or $98,756,869 raised by 15,293 contributors, Centrifuge won by a wide margin against promising project in the fourth auction HydraDX, which is currently only 2,266,310 DOT ($41,178,847) has.

DeFi has come a long way — but it’s still in its infancy. Most of the TVL (Total Value Locked) in DeFi is crypto. This limits the growth of the industry. Claimed to be the home of DeFi in the real world, so once Centrifuge is connected to Polkadot — soon to be connected to other parachains like Moonbeam and Acala — the Defi ecosystem on Polkadot is expected to grow rapidly.

Centrifuge will officially launch on March 11th on Polkadot with other parachain winners.
