As electric vehicles gain popularity in Vietnam, residents of older apartment complexes have expressed concerns over the lack of dedicated charging stations. However, this issue is being alleviated by the impressive range of VinFast vehicles and the extensive public charging network available across the country.

Nguyễn Thanh Vân, a 34-year-old resident of an apartment in Hà Đông, Hanoi, shared her experience after purchasing a VinFast VF 6. Initially worried about charging options, she discovered that with her daily commute of 30-35 kilometers, she only needs to charge her vehicle once a week. The VF 6 can travel up to 460 kilometers on a full charge, allowing her to integrate charging into her daily routine without the need for dedicated charging time.

“I charge my car while I’m at the shopping mall or during my child’s tutoring sessions,” she explained. “With over 150,000 charging ports available nationwide, finding a charging station that fits my schedule is quite simple.”

Another VinFast owner, Lê Quốc Hưng from Bắc Ninh, highlighted the financial benefits of switching to an electric vehicle. Commuting approximately 60 kilometers daily, he enjoys free charging at V-Green until February 10, 2029, significantly reducing his monthly fuel expenses that previously reached 3 million VND. “Charging at V-Green on my way to work is convenient and cost-effective,” he stated.

In addition to charging convenience, Hưng noted that maintenance for electric vehicles is less demanding. Regular checks on tires, brakes, and suspension are sufficient, with costs reduced to a few hundred thousand VND per session, about one-third of what he used to spend on traditional vehicles.

VinFast's service network includes nearly 450 service centers, making it easy for owners to schedule maintenance. The company also offers a warranty of up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, surpassing many competitors in the market.
