Chợ Rẫy Hospital has made headlines by reaching an unprecedented 10,000 outpatient visits and treatments in just one day, a record set on September 7. This remarkable achievement breaks the hospital's previous record of 9,021 visits recorded on May 6. According to statistics from the hospital's planning department, the breakdown includes 8,819 outpatient visits and 1,181 treatments.
In response to the surge in patient numbers, Chợ Rẫy Hospital mobilized its entire operational system to handle the increased demand. This included all clinics, treatment areas, doctors, nurses, and support staff working at maximum capacity. To ensure that patients received timely and attentive care, healthcare workers were stationed at various reception points, optimizing the flow of patients to minimize congestion.
The hospital has been making efforts to expedite the patient experience throughout the examination and treatment process. To proactively reduce waiting times and alleviate fatigue caused by the high volume of patients, Chợ Rẫy Hospital encourages patients and their families to use the hospital's mobile application, "BV Chợ Rẫy," to schedule appointments in advance. This allows patients to select their preferred time slots and specialties, enhancing their overall experience at the hospital.
