New Police Culture School Established in Tay Ninh

On August 24, 2026, the Ministry of Public Security announced the establishment of the Police Culture School IV in Tay Ninh, designed to cater to the educational needs of 115 students from challenging backgrounds in the southeastern region of Vietnam.

The new school is located at 123 Truong Chinh Street, Tan Ninh Ward, Tay Ninh Province, within the premises of the former Tay Ninh Provincial Police headquarters. The facility has been repurposed for educational use and spans an area of 5.6 hectares, with an initial investment of over 400 billion VND.

After nearly a month of renovations, several facilities have been upgraded to accommodate students. A three-story building previously used for administrative purposes has been transformed into a dormitory and study area. Additionally, a nine-story building has been converted into 11 classrooms, along with laboratories for computer science, foreign languages, music, arts, and a library.

The total renovation cost was approximately 4.8 billion VND, with 4.4 billion VND allocated for construction and 400 million VND for consulting services. The Tay Ninh Provincial Police contributed nearly 1 billion VND for purchasing beds, desks, textbooks, and kitchen equipment.

According to the official announcement, the Police Culture School IV will be integrated into the organizational structure of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police. Concurrently, the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training also announced the establishment of an elementary, middle, and high school within the Police Culture School IV.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, the school aims to support the learning and living needs of 115 students, along with a team of teachers and administrative staff. Priority will be given to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, vulnerable children, and the offspring of ethnic minorities in the southeastern provinces.

Teachers will be recruited from the police force and the education sector in the region. The school was established as part of the project outlined in Proposal No. 01-DA/DUCA dated May 15, 2026, by the Central Police Party Committee, aimed at organizing Police Culture Schools to align police work with social welfare from 2026 to 2030.

During the inauguration ceremony, the school received additional resources, including a foreign language classroom, a computer lab, and a smart library. The Minister of Public Security awarded commendations to three individuals, while the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee recognized six organizations and one individual for their contributions to the school's establishment. The event concluded with a ceremonial writing exercise and the planting of a commemorative tree.
