In Lam Dong province, the Agricultural Promotion Center has acknowledged that 148 officials have not received their bonuses as stipulated by Decree 73 of the Government, amounting to more than 1.4 billion VND. This issue was highlighted during a recent conversation with Nguyen Van Chuong, the Director of the Agricultural Promotion Center.
On June 20, 2026, local media reported that many agricultural officials expressed their concerns regarding the non-payment of bonuses for the year 2025, following their transfer to local levels. According to reports, over 200 agricultural officials who were reassigned have not received the bonuses they are entitled to under the decree.
Nguyen Van Chuong confirmed that there are still many officials who have not received their bonuses. He explained that following the restructuring of local government into a two-tier system on July 1, 2025, the center received 363 officials from previous district-level agricultural stations. Some units had completed their paperwork and received their bonuses, while others had not, leaving them without the necessary documentation to process payments.
The center has conducted a review and reported the situation to the Department of Finance and the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to ensure that the rights of these workers are upheld. As of now, 148 officials are still awaiting their bonuses, and the center is actively seeking solutions.
The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has indicated that the allocation of funds for bonuses in 2025 is appropriate, but the current budget year has ended. They noted that using funds from the 2026 salary reform to cover these bonuses does not comply with current regulations, leaving them unable to resolve the issue.
Nguyen Van Chuong stated that the Agricultural Promotion Center is aware of the complaints and is continuing to advocate for a resolution from the relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Finance, to ensure that the rights of the workers are protected.
