Police search homes of four flight attendants in drug case
HCMC – The HCMC police have found no illicit drugs at the residences of the four Vietnam Airlines flight
Speaking at a Government press conference today, June 3, Lieutenant General To An Xo, spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), said the investigation of the case is still ongoing and that drug smuggling by air remains a complicated issue.
So far this year, the police have filed charges against more than 13,000 drug cases with over 20,000 individuals involved, Xo said, adding more than 14,200 kg of heroin, 4,023 kg of methamphetamine, 928,000 ecstasy pills and 210 kg of cannabis have been seized.
