Former Miss Vietnam, Mai Phuong Thuy, made a striking appearance at a recent event on August 2, donning a sophisticated gray suit from designer Chung Thanh Phong's menswear collection. The total value of her outfit was nearly 2.5 billion VND, equivalent to around $100,000, drawing significant attention for its elegance and luxury.

A standout piece in her ensemble was the Hublot Big Bang Unico Usain Bolt watch, crafted from 18K gold and valued at over 1.3 billion VND. This limited-edition timepiece is one of only 100 pieces produced worldwide. Mai Phuong Thuy revealed that she purchased the watch in Europe in 2016 and has cherished it ever since. The watch features an automatic movement, UNICO HUB1242, with a power reserve of 72 hours and water resistance up to 100 meters, complemented by a skeleton dial that showcases its intricate mechanics.

In addition to the watch, she carried a Louis Vuitton handbag from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, valued at approximately 1.1 billion VND. This exquisite bag is made from various types of crocodile leather, features handcrafted Monogram patterns, and includes a gold-plated lock. Stylist Phong Truong noted that the bag was ordered in Vietnam and shipped from Singapore, complete with product certification, and is currently in high demand globally.

To complete her look, Mai Phuong Thuy opted for comfortable black mules from Louis Vuitton, adorned with striking feathers, priced at 34 million VND. This choice added a unique flair to her sophisticated suit while ensuring comfort.

Born in 1988, Mai Phuong Thuy was crowned Miss Vietnam in 2006 and later competed in the Miss World pageant, finishing in the top 17. She has since been active in the fashion industry and film, although she took a break from the spotlight to focus on her business ventures. Occasionally, she serves as a judge in beauty contests and makes guest appearances on reality television shows. Currently, she resides in Ho Chi Minh City, while her family is based in Hanoi.
