The announcement came after the couple shared a video from their recent trip to Russia on July 15, where Viet Anh was seen playfully lifting Quỳnh Nga and spinning her around. The video received a warm reception, with many friends and fans congratulating the couple in the comments.

Viet Anh acknowledged the relationship but refrained from discussing future plans, stating, "We are just now officially changing the status of our relationship." Rumors about their romance began circulating in 2020, shortly after Viet Anh's second divorce. Despite the speculation, both actors had previously denied any romantic involvement, insisting they were just close friends.
