HCMC – Hanoi Railway Transport JSC will increase the number of passenger trains to meet the higher travel demand on Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) this year.

Apart from the four pairs of Thong Nhat trains, including SE1/2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/8, the firm will operate a pair of trains SE11/12 on April 28 and 29, and May 1 and 2, the local media reported.

One train will also be added for the Hanoi-Danang route, starting from April 28, aside from a regular pair of trains, SE19/20.

More passenger trains will run on the Hanoi-Dong Hoi, Hanoi-Vinh, Hanoi-Thanh Hoa and Hanoi-Lao Cai rail lines during the upcoming national holiday.

On the Hanoi-Haiphong rail link, Train LP9 will depart from Hanoi City on April 29, while two trains, LP10 and HP4, will start operation on May 3.
