HCMC – Tourist trains on the Hanoi-Danang route will return to normal operation after a year of suspension due to low travel demand, according to the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC.
The SE19 tourist train will restart running from March 2, departing from Hanoi Railway Station at 7:50 p.m. and arriving in Danang at 12:12 p.m. every day.
The SE20 tourist train will be re-operated from March 3, departing from Danang Railway Station at 6:05 p.m. and arriving in Hanoi at 11:46 a.m. every day.
The ticket prices of the trains are about 15-20% lower than those of the Thong Nhat trains (SE1 and SE2).
The discount rate depends on the number of guests and the time of booking.
For a group of 5-10 people, a discount of 2% on ticket prices will be applied for bookings from one to four days in advance. Meanwhile, a discount of 4% and 6% is applicable for bookings from 5-19 days and above 20 days in advance, respectively.
For a group of 11-40 people, the discount rate is 4%, 6%, and 8%, respectively.
Previously, the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC adjusted the train schedules from February 6 and its ticket prices were 20% lower than those during the Tet holiday.
