Saigontourist Travel welcomes first foreign tourists at Tet

HCMC – Saigontourist Travel, a tourism services arm of Saigontourist Group, welcomed over 30 French visitors to Vietnam on January 25, who are the company’s first foreign guests by air in the Lunar New Year.

These tourists are scheduled to spend 11 days traveling in Vietnam to discover local historical and cultural features.

In Hanoi, the Old Quarter and Co Loa Citadel are among the places they will come to before they head for Quang Ninh Province to visit the UNESCO-listed Halong Bay.

In central Vietnam, they will take a heritage-rich tour, which takes in the picturesque Huong (Perfume) River in Thua Thien-Hue Province and the ancient town of Hoi An in Quang Nam Province.

On the final days of the travel program, the French visitors will spent time in HCMC dropping by the well-known Cu Chi Tunnels and in the Mekong Delta exploring the exotic Cai Be Floating Market.
