Samsung is actively expanding its beta testing of the One UI 9 update for a range of devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold7, S24, S23, and A56. This initiative showcases the company's dedication to improving software experience for its users.
The latest updates indicate that Samsung is not only focusing on the current flagship models but also on mid-range devices. The firmware codes for these devices have been leaked, confirming the ongoing development of One UI 9. For instance, the Galaxy Z Fold7 carries the firmware code F966USQUACZF3, while the Galaxy A56 has A566BXXUBDZFB. The Galaxy S23 is currently in testing with the code S911BXXUAGZF9, and the entire Galaxy S24 series has also seen firmware builds emerge, with codes such as S921BXXUFEZF7 for the Galaxy S24.
As the update progresses, it's still uncertain which specific models will receive the next beta version after the S26 series. However, it is anticipated that the upcoming foldable smartphones, such as the Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8, will likely debut with One UI 9 pre-installed when they are revealed on July 22 at a major event in London.
This continuous rollout of One UI 9 beta versions to both mid-range devices like the A56 and previous-generation models like the S23 and S24 series reflects Samsung's remarkable efforts to provide a seamless software experience. Such thorough preparation promises a quicker, smoother, and less error-prone update cycle for the Samsung community.
As users await the new interface, many are eager to see the practical improvements that One UI 9 will bring to their devices.
