Tokyo reveals exclusive features on PS5

Developed by Tango Gameworks, the creators behind The Evil Within series, Ghostwire: Tokyo tells the story of Akito, a man haunted by the spirit of a detective named KK. The duo must use their supernatural abilities to uncover the mystery of the city of Tokyo, where people are disappearing, replaced by the overwhelming appearance of ghosts from Japanese legends.

The game was originally developed as a sequel to The Evil Within. However, then the departure of Ikumi Nakamura (father of The Evil Within series) changed the company’s plans. Kenji Kimura took over as game director and decided to develop Ghostwire: Tokyo in a separate direction.

Since its debut at E3 2019, Ghostwire: Tokyo has created a lot of excitement for the gaming community. Possessing excellent graphics, engaging storyline and a very fresh gameplay, Ghostwire: Tokyo promises to be a real blockbuster when it comes out.

And in the game’s latest promotional campaign, developer Tango Gameworks shared the exclusive features of Ghostwire: Tokyo when playing on PS5. This will be a big plus for PS5 gamers compared to other versions on PC.

Ghostwire: Tokyo leverages PS5 technology to recreate the timeless beauty of Tokyo. This place is a mixture of modern high-rise buildings, dark alleys, and ancient temples. All are covered with a layer of mystical flavor that even those familiar with this city are surprised. Many iconic locations of Tokyo will appear in the game such as Shibuya Street, Tokyo Tower…

Ghostwire: Tokyo features a robust combat system, allowing players to use supernatural abilities to attack and interact with unusual phenomena in ways such as purification, sealing, and destruction. As you progress through the game, you’ll develop new skills that suit your style and use them to fight more epicly.

As expected, Ghostwire: Tokyo will be released on March 25, 2022.
