Midfielder Kritsada Kaman expressed the team's commitment to winning, stating that it is crucial for their chances to progress in the tournament. "We all aim for the finals, and facing Vietnam, we certainly want to win. This match could determine the top position in our group and directly impact our chances of advancing," Kaman said.

In preparation for the match, the team held a recovery training session at their hotel gym in Bandung on September 27. Coach Anthony Hudson divided the squad into two groups; the starting players from the match against Pakistan focused on recovery, while the others worked on maintaining their fitness levels.

Kaman, who plays for BG Pathum United, expressed pride in representing Thailand and his readiness to play in any position as required by the coach's tactical plans. "I am always happy and proud to return to the national team. The position I play depends on the coach's choice and strategy. I will give my best effort in any position I am assigned," he affirmed.
