Vietnam's U17 women's team has been placed in a favorable group for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2027

The Vietnam U-20 football team is preparing for the 2027 Asian U-20 Championship qualifiers, where they will host Group C matches from August 31 to September 6 at the Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho province. This tournament is a crucial opportunity for young players to gain international experience and build a foundation for the future of Vietnamese football.
Vietnam U-20 will face tough competition in their group, which includes U-20 Iran, a top-seeded team, alongside U-20 North Korea and U-20 Palestine. The matches will be a significant challenge as Vietnam aims to secure a spot in the final tournament.
In this qualification round, teams will compete in a single round-robin format to accumulate points and determine rankings. The top eight teams from all groups, along with the best-performing second-placed teams, will qualify for the final tournament, alongside host team U-20 China.
The matches at Viet Tri Stadium will be free to attend, encouraging fans from Phu Tho and nearby areas to come and support the Vietnam U-20 team in their quest for qualification. Viettel Telecom has been announced as the main sponsor for Group C, marking a significant milestone as it is the first time the company has partnered with a U-20 qualification tournament. They will also provide free live broadcasts of the matches on the TV360 app, along with high-speed 4G/5G data support.
This tournament is not only a platform for young talents to showcase their skills but also a step toward the future of football in Vietnam, as the nation aims to make its mark on the international stage.
