Hanoi Police Football Club Faces Tough Opponents in AFC Champions League

The Hanoi Police Football Club has learned its opponents for the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2026/2027, and the draw has revealed a challenging lineup. The club, which is the sole representative from Vietnam's V-League, will face five formidable teams from Japan, alongside two from China and one from Malaysia.

The matches will commence on September 14, 2026, and will conclude in February 2027. The teams that Hanoi Police will compete against include:

After the group stage, the top eight teams from both the Eastern and Western regions will advance to the knockout stage, which is scheduled to begin in March 2027. The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will be held in Saudi Arabia from April 23 to May 1, 2027.

Hanoi Police Football Club is placed in the fourth seed group of the Eastern region, alongside other teams such as Ratchaburi from Thailand. This positioning indicates that they will encounter some of the top football powers in East Asia, making the upcoming matches a significant challenge for the team.
